As the rain fell down around them, Alex and John didn’t seem to notice, or care they were getting rained on. They were so in the moment, focused on each other. So many changes between tying the knot and welcoming a new baby, they wanted this time to be remembered, regardless of how their day went.

Alex and John are probably some of the most kind and optimistic people I’ve met. Alex has this calming, warm and welcoming feeling about her, so at peace. I came to learn Alex recently went through a program called Freedom Session, where she turned her life over to God. She is a child of God, and wow, does she emanate His presence. John has very kind eyes and an inviting smile, and was ready to jump into our session. Their love and embrace for other people was just as strong as their love for each other and was even more evident in their sweet daughter. 

Their day may not have gone exactly as planned, but they showed up, smiling and ready to put their derailed plans behind them and create some memories worth remembering.

They are expecting their sweet little boy any day. I can tell you that boy will be so loved and will make a very special mark on this world.
