One…two…three……….Weightless, soaring, and free for what feels like an eternity. The cool breeze is kissing their rosy cheeks as they glide down off the mountain; smiles so big, you can see them from across the field. Distracted by the pure bliss you just witnessed, their parachutes are already packed and they are headed back up for one more fly.

Brian and Bre are the epitome of an adventure couple. Mountain biking, jumping out of planes, fly fishing, sailing, backcountry skiing, and riding motorcycles are a few of their favorite things. Fast forward a few years, add a baby, and the pace of life has changed ever so slightly.

Knowing what you know now, would you believe me when I said Brian showed up straight off an afternoon of mountain biking? Not only was it befitting to Brian, but I think he helped me unlock the secret to an enthusiastic counterpart during photo sessions (ahem men and kids). Give them a few hours before the session to fill their cup so full they are overflowing with smiles and joy. We are bound to create beautiful photos. Right? Anyone want to help me test this theory?

All joking aside, it has been so fun watching these two grow into the role of parents. Bre is so attentive and allows her son to explore at his pace and gives him the opportunity to experience the world through his own curiosity. Brian is engaged, present and lends a helping hand to the needs of both mom and baby. Together they make a great parenting pair, and I can’t wait to watch them all grow together.
